Janet K. Baxter lives in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, and is a member of the Charlotte Writer’s Club and Scribblers, a memoir critique group. Her stories, “Horse Whispering for the Average Woman,” “Southern Blues,” “A Frank Lesson,” “Cappie, The Boomerang Horse,” “An Angel’s Smile” and “Morgan: Our Escape Artist” have appeared in previous anthologies published by the Personal Story Publishing Project. My writing is an exploration of random thoughts; life’s philosophy; brief, but colorful, visions; stories shared during family get-togethers, and essays, missives, and musings that swirl within me. One Soul Alone is one of the narratives that build within me as the years go by. Special thanks to my family, friends, and to Scribblers for their support and encouragement throughout this journey.
