The 75th anniversary of D-Day found the graves of the Bedford Boys buried at Colleville Sur Mer, France, honored by persons brought together by thoughtfulness and willing curiosity.
Harold Threatt lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, with his wife of 53 years, Kaye. He enjoys visiting his grandson in Quebec, hiking, traveling, and reading about WW II. His biggest physical achievements are hiking all the trails along the Blue Ridge Parkway and going rim-to-rim at the Grand Canyon four times. While he has helped edit several books, this is his first published story.
